Hawks ’03 Advance to ECNL National Final and Hawks ’05 Quarterfinal Run

The Hawks ’05 and Hawks ’03 both advanced to the National quarterfinal games today in San Diego for the Girls’ ECNL Playoffs.

The Hawks ’05 won their group beating Virginia Development Academy 5–0, Tampa Bay United 3-1, and tying D’Feeters SC 1-1.  The Hawks fell just short in the quarterfinal with a loss to PDA Blue 3–1.

The Hawks ’03 also won their U16 group with a 5-2 victory over Challenge SC, a 2-1 win against Pacific Northwest, and a 3-1 loss to BRYC Elite Academy.  The National quarterfinal match up today was against Chicago rival Eclipse Select SC Lunar with the Hawks coming out on top 4-3.  With the win, the Hawks will now compete for an ECNL National Championship July 12 – 13 in Richmond, Virginia.
